We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, phone number, and — for Drivers — vehicle type and vehicle details submitted during registration. We also collect basic usage data (pages visited, actions taken on the Platform) and, once location-based search is active, approximate location to show nearby Drivers or jobs.
2. How We Use Information
We use this information to operate your account, connect Customers with Drivers, display relevant listings, communicate with you about your account or a job, and improve the Platform. We do not sell your personal information.
3. How We Share Information
When you book or accept a job, GoWonderlu shares the information necessary to complete that job — such as name, contact details, and pickup/drop-off details — between the Customer and Driver involved. We may also share information with service providers who help us operate the Platform (such as hosting and, in the future, payment processing), or when required by law.
4. Cookies & Tracking
The Platform uses cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality, such as keeping you logged in and remembering preferences. We do not currently use third-party advertising trackers.
5. Data Retention
We retain account information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
6. Your Rights & Choices
You can review and update your account information at any time from your account settings. You may request that we delete your account and associated personal information by contacting us, subject to any records we're required to keep for legal or safety reasons (such as a Driver's review history).
7. California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to request disclosure of the categories of personal information we collect and to request deletion of that information. 8. Texas Data Privacy & Security Act
As a Texas-based company, GoWonderlu intends to comply with the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) as it applies to our operations, including providing this notice of the categories of personal data we process and the purposes described above.
9. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Third-Party Services
GoWonderlu uses WordPress and HivePress to operate the Platform. Future phases will add payment processing (Stripe) and messaging/notification services, which will be reflected here once active.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as GoWonderlu's features change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
